An example of atheistic chastity. This is the reason for condemnation of Gandhari. Gandhari was an atheistic chaste lady and she ended up cursing Krishna thereby sending herself to hell and disturbing many devotees. This is also indirectly hinted by Vyasadeva when he declares the 5 focuses of the Mahabharata. One of them is "gandharisya pativratam". It’s not "gandhari's KC pativrat". This was an atheistic pativrat. This pativrata if is without spiritual vision then it will cause the man to love his wife more and more and cause for him to have more 'maithun adi grihamedhi sukham' and if the man is a ideal atheistic husband he was cause for the woman to have more ''maithun adi grihamedhi sukham' with him. Thus a woman with non KC chastity and a man with non KC sensitivity/responsibility will go to hell. E.g. Gandhari and Dritarashtra. We never hear that he was a irresponsible husband. So among the karmi women there is no need to give them any pious-moral-pro-vedic lesson. Give them KC and the training of chastity. Similarly no need to lecture on atheistic brahmacharya, this will lead to Ravanagiri. Ravana was an atheistic brahmachari for 12000 years, and then was he started doing was the opposite of all brahmacharya. He did not go to perform austerities with a bag full of sex magazines. Ravana and Gandhari both gave trouble to Krishna. Chastity and brahmacharya are both mundane. Ours is a 16 round and 4 regulative principles propagating mission. This "promotion of atheistic chastity" was one of the faults that Narada Muni found out in vyasa's literatures. And we as Iskcon people, we are making the same mistake that Vyasadeva was chastised for. We are promoting non-KC morality which led to Vyasadeva becoming morose.

Mandodari was non controversial but was serving Ravana. Draupadi was controversial but serving Krishna through the medium of her devotee husbands. Better make a daughter who marries 5 devotee men but assists them in serving Krishna then 1 Mandodari who serves Ravana and indirectly assists him in his demonism.

So we are to stop this rascaldom from spreading in society because that is not our objective -to educate the masses about mundane principles. Is there any word Krishna or Prabhupada's orders or guru's order or "because scriptures say so" in the below paragraph? Who orders chastity? Whose concept is it? Who is it meant to ultimately please? Chastity is to be followed because Krishna says so. This we know from the revealed scriptures. 'Women should be chaste' this not a mundane moral concocted concept. This is Krishna’s order. This order if followed Krishna will be pleased. This is the KC factor in the mundane principle known as Chastity. So give women KC and tell them to remain chaste to their husbands who are their actual-practical gurus. Not that she is running after the sannyassi-guru to take his dust from his feet. When a female disciple takes the dust out of her husband's apartment with a broom/v. cleaner, then her guru and Krishna will be actually more pleased then if she runs after the initiating guru trying to take his dust. By the way, the guru/counselor should himself know this principle and encourage women to be good wives first then be good disciples. Otherwise men will find some other woman to associate with. Because men are not inbuilt with the principle of loyalty towards a single partner. The principle is, "all men are different and all women are the same. A man looks for broad qualities in a woman, if he has found them in some woman he won’t hesitate to give her his affections. But for a woman it is not so, a woman is attached to a certain set of qualities that she finds in a particular man and she won’t ever be able find his clone. This is why women are chaste and monogamous and men are polygamous. This is why women are not supposed to marry after the husband's dead and men may marry on the death of the wife".
