Urmila Vs BVKS book Ramayana

Anti-BVKS vitriol at its best should be the heading of this passage. The mata with very nicely arranged sentences rubbishes BVKS's Ramayana away. Little does she know that the punishment of ब्रह्मद्वेश is कुलक्षय
Observe the delicate play of words here, by Urmila Dasi.
  1. This edition is wonderful--easy and engaging to read.
  2. For most of the book, one will find just the basic Ramayana story, and not all the "side stories" that are in the full Ramayana.
  3. However, towards the end this book contains a number of those additional stories.
  4. This edition is almost identical to one published by Purnaprajna dasa.
  5. Indeed, this book is really his edition with some slight editing and small sections inserted.
  6. If you choose one, I would suggest you choose this one as it's a bit more polished.
  7. An excellent read for anyone wanting to relish the Ramayana.
Point 1 bears some honest praise.
Point 2 is where it starts.
Point 3 is where she alludes that point 2 is a bit mistaken.
Point 4 is where the fun begins. Here she is praising a fellow BVKS-hater Sri Purnaprajna, she glorifies by saying that BVKS stole things from him.
Point 5 is where elucidates her claim that BVKS is unoriginal and the only thing that BVKS has done is 'polished' Sri Purnaprajna's old book.
Point 6 is where she declared it to be good on the virtue of it being a slightly better version of the old book.

So this analysis establishes that the mata has criticized BVKS in a very nuanced way so as to hide her tracks. She sandwiches her criticism  in the middle and the rest she fills with praise. Now, if you were to accuse her of criticizing it won't be the full truth since she has praised BVKS. This is old clever iskcon way to hide her emotions and her basal nature that bear a great amount of animosity towards BVKS.
